There was a other painter on Television, Gerry Jenkens and his wife. From him I learned te paint flowers and special roses. Those are the most difficult. Lots of practise. This one is 50x70cm.

Indeed I did not have guts to follow him as I thought they are truly amazing and truly difficult. How long did it take for you to learn his process?

Sunnylady,TRhanks for your compliment. Compleet different style this yes. The roses.... Pffft. Took me more then 1 year to learn. Every day I practised, so 10/20 boughttimes. The leafs, they were easy, and the lilas also, with the right brush. I took al him programs on TV on DVD and bought al his books.

Great composition and color choice. Definitely can see the Jenkens influence with the wiggle leaf clusters. Super result!
